Mr. Peczkis is a Polish American. He has been studying Jewish-Polish relations for decades and has read thousands of books on Jews and Poles. In recognition of his efforts to improve public understanding of Polish-Jewish relations, Mr. Peczkis was honored with the Polonia Award given by the Polish American Congress of Southern California in 2015.
