100K–200K Germans Dwarf Collaborators. Service in German Administration Was Not Collaboration

Stalinism and Nazism, edited by Henry Rousso. 2004. University of Nebraska Press, Lincoln

Germans Dwarf Collaborators. The Holocaust Was THE German Project and German Act. Period. Don’t Blame Poles

With reference to the murdered Jews, author Philippe Burrin wrote, “…even those who carried out the executions–the guards at the concentration and extermination camps and the police responsible for the massive shootings of Jews in the USSR and in Poland…represents a total of some 100,000–200,000 Germans, which were helped by thousands more from other nationalities.” (pp. 102-103).

For confirmation of the fact that active German killers amounted to the hundreds of thousands, see:

Germans dwarf collaborators! Note that “thousands” of collaborators are insignificant compared to the 100,000–200,000 Nazi German killers. So much for the mythical transfer of German guilt to Polish collaborators! And so much for the broader myth that the Holocaust is a “European Problem” as opposed to what it really is–an Austrian-German problem.

GERMANS DWARF COLLABORATORS: SERVICE IN GERMAN ADMINISTRATION ITSELF WAS NOT COLLABORATION

Andrzej Paczkowski lists some prospective Polish Quislings, and identifies Polish journalist Emil Skiwski as a long-term prospective Polish Quisling. (p. 243).

German scholar Klaus-Peter Friedrich has promulgated the canard that Poles serving in German institutions in German-occupied Poland were collaborators. What a crock! Do not confuse compelled service to the Germans, and “voluntary” service compelled by circumstances, with actual collaboration! Paczkowski focuses on “voluntary” Polish service in the German administration. He comments, “To day, these has been no monograph on the ‘DAILY COLLABORATION’ THAT WAS NECESSARY, HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO SURVIVE. Railroad conductors drove German trains, workers worked in German factories, shopkeepers sold products to the Germans…” (pp. 244-245. Emphasis added). There you have it–“necessary to survive”–pretty elementary, but lost on the accusers of Poland.

Germans are not the only ones that mix-up service in the German administration with collaboration. Soviet Communist justice, and to a lesser extent Polish Communist justice, also confused even trivial service in the German administration with collaboration! See:

PUSHBACK AGAINST HOLOCAUST SUPREMACISM AND ITS DEVALUATION OF THE GULAGS

Promoters of the Holocaust often point out that the Soviet gulags did not have gas chambers and crematoria, as if a technical issue (the method of murder) could validly be confused with the fact of murder. Alexandra Laignel-Lavastine cites what she calls a recurring expression in the East that defend the significance of the gulags–“these countless Auschwitzes without crematoriums.” (pp. 172-173).
