Shrewd IHRA Holocaust Exclusivism. Dane Glorification Frenzy
The Holocaust: Country by Country, by Paul R. Bartrop and Eve E. Grimm. 2024. Bloomsbury Academic, New York, London
IHRA Holocaust Exclusivism is Built-In Into the Stockholm Declaration. Denmark Collectively Honored: Poland Cannot Be. Chodakiewicz Cited
This book has short chapters on many nations (not only European nations) and their response to the Holocaust. For this reason, this book is a mile wide and an inch deep. Nevertheless, it promotes much of the old standard Holocaust narrative even though it is new, and this is the object of my focus.
IHRA HOLOCAUST EXCLUSIVISM IS EMBEDDED IN ITS VERY BODY
IHRA Holocaust exclusivism has been uncritically accepted by Poland (if only under duress), and is unsurprisingly being used in Polish schools to elevate the Holocaust and to downgrade the Polokaust. It is therefore worth looking more closely at what IHRA is all about.
In order to expose the IHRA Holocaust exclusivism that is being pushed by this organization, I provide comments [IN CAPS AND IN BRACKETS] to my quotation of Bartrop and Grimm:
“What followed–the Declaration of the Stockholm International Forum on the Holocaust (or ‘Stockholm Declaration’)–became the founding document of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). Members of the IHRA are committed to the Stockholm Declaration which recognizes, among other things, that the Holocaust fundamentally challenged the foundations of civilization [NON-JEWISH GENOCIDES DIDN’T]; that the unprecedented character of the Holocaust [OTHER GENOCIDES WERE COMMONPLACE EVENTS] will always hold universal meaning [NON-JEWISH SUFFERINGS DO NOT]; that the international community shares a solemn responsibility to fight evils such as genocide [WHILE FORGETTING OR MINIMIZING NON-JEWISH GENOCIDES], ethnic cleansing, racism [EXCEPT AGAINST WHITES], antisemitism [BUT NOT ANTI-POLONISM], and xenophobia [ALLOW UNRESTRICTED IMMIGRATION–TO WHITE-MAJORITY NATIONS, THAT IS]; that the truth of the Holocaust must be upheld against those that deny it [A TRIVIAL FEAR AND DISTRACTION]; that education, remembrance and research must be strengthened through the study of the Holocaust in schools, universities, and communities [STILL NOT ENOUGH ALREADY!]; and that Holocaust commemoration and remembrance, through the annual Day of Holocaust Remembrance, is to be encouraged [WHILE NON-JEWISH GENOCIDES ARE FORGOTTEN]”. (p. 291).
The IHRA actively promotes a self-guilt approach, among member nations, relative to the Jews. See:

COLLECTIVE CREDIT FOR DANISH RESCUERS BUT NOT FOR POLISH RESCUERS
Nowadays, Jews have a conniption whenever Poles supposedly claim collective credit for rescuing Jews. At the same time, they hypocritically glorify “the entire Danish nation” for rescuing Jews–as if there were no Danish collaborators and as if every single Dane was a rescuer of Jews. For a rebuttal to this Judeocentric nonsense, see:
What’s more, Jews are not even internally consistent in their two-faced policies: They also honor individual Danish rescuers on top of honoring “the entire Danish nation”.
Bartrop and Grimm describe this entire discriminatory Jewish policy:
“At Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, the title of Righteous among the Nations is awarded only to individuals. Members of the Danish resistance who participated in the rescue of the Danish Jews, on the other hand, viewed the rescue operation as a joint national action for which individuals should not be singled out or listed by name, but rather commemorated as a single group. Consequently, Yad Vashem was asked not to recognize resistance members individually. In what was an unprecedented step, Yad Vashem not only agreed, but planted a tree on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem to commemorate the actions of the Danish resistance collectively. Despite this recognition of the rescue of the Jewish population, to date there have also been twenty-two Danish citizens named for other acts of selfless rescue during the Holocaust.” (p. 94. Emphasis added).
The double standard is palpable.
PROFESSOR MAREK JAN CHODAKIEWICZ CITED
In their chapter on Poland, authors Bartrop and Grimm (p. 250) cite Marek Jan Chodakiewicz and one of his books–BETWEEN NAZIS AND SOVIETS. See:
https://www.jewsandpolesdatabase.org/2019/11/04/death-penalty-german-decisive-chodakiewicz/
This contrasts with most Holocaust scholars, who ignore Chodakiewicz for his dissent from some of the standard Holocaust narrative, and thereby treat him as an Orwellian unperson.
