Ruthless 1939 Zydokomuna Provoked Lithuanian Hatred

The Shoah (Holocaust) in Lithuania, edited by Joseph Levinson. 2006. Vilna Gaon Jewish State Museum, Vilnius

1939 Zydokomuna Provoked Lithuanian Hatred

Most of this work is the standard Judeocentric fare. It emphasizes Zydokomuna denialism and promotes Holocaust supremacism, notably the imagined incomparable suffering of the Jews above the Lithuanians. (p. 331). Everything that happened to the Jews is the Lithuanians’ fault.

This book has repeated complaints about the disproportionate force that the Holocaust was against the earlier Judeo-Bolshevism. Ironically, similar complaints are voiced today–this time against the Jews, for the disproportionate force of the Israelis against the Palestinians (as per the Dahiya doctrine).

PROVOKED LITHUANIAN HATRED AND MODERN HOLOCAUST OVER-ATTENTION

Blame falls on the Lithuanians merely for questioning the inordinate attention the Holocaust gets. Suzeidelis comments, “We often hear complaints that the Holocaust is being mentioned too much and too often, that the subject of the Jewish Catastrophe is simply being forced on education and public institutions and on national society as a whole. And these things are said not only in Lithuania.” (p. 21). Yes, and that is exactly how it is.

HOW JEWISH-SOVIET COLLABORATION PROVOKED LITHUANIAN HATRED

Author Zuvintas takes a different tack from the rest of this book as he writes, “With the establishment of Soviet rule in Lithuania, the influence of the Jews became considerably stronger. Most institutions were staffed almost entirely by Jews. They interfered everywhere, teaching everyone how to live the Soviet way. Groups of agitators, mostly Jews, swarmed the villages, urging the start of the sowing or harvesting seasons…what advice could one expect from a person who had never held either a scythe or a plough in his hands…Commissars appeared in all institutions, who were also Jews for the greater part, and who badgered people with their obligations, socialist competitions and other twaddle.” (p. 453).

What’s more, Jewish conduct was deliberately provocative. Zuvintas writes, “I heard from more than one person how the Jews would shout to Lithuanians: ‘Yesterday you were in power, today it we who hold power!'” (p. 454).

HOW JEWISH ECONOMIC CONDUCT PROVOKED LITHUANIAN HATRED

Algis Kasparavicius describes the content of some Lithuanian newspapers that appeared soon after the Nazi German occupation of Lithuania. One wrote, “They (Jews) have eaten the richest morsels; they have built themselves mansions…a just law shall rein in their rampages and eliminate their insatiable appetites.” (pp. 225-226). Another newspaper wrote, “After being exploited by the Jews for so long, we shall finally see our town free of Jews, our commerce free of Jewish hucksters, and we shall be able to sell without our prices being bargained down.” (p. 226).

EXPLAINING LITHUANIAN HATRED: A LONE JEWISH VOICE

One quoted Jew, Professor Aleksandras Stromas, gets it right, “As a Jew, I must reject the belief that we Jews have always been only innocent and helpless victims of the bad treatment and injustices of other nations; we must acknowledge our true faults…” (p. 349).
