Communist Perfidy in Action, Including the “Fighting Fascism” Claim

AGAINST FIGHTING POLAND is the title of this Polish-language work. It is largely based on archives. However, Polish scholars have very limited access to Soviet archives, and those archives dealing with Soviet acts in Poland are still classified. (p. 9).

This work is mostly on Communist efforts to penetrate the Polish Underground. In this review, I focus mainly on Underground countermeasures.

The Polish Underground also warned the peasant guerrilla formations (the BCh, that is, Bataliony Chlopskie) about Communist influences. (p. 120). These warnings proved to be partly successful.

COMMUNIST PERFIDY: DEALING WITH COMMUNIST FALSEHOODS

The Polish Underground dealt with Communist lies. Against the claim that Communism was a tireless foe of Nazism, it pointed to the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact, which included major Soviet material support for Nazi Germany. (p, 60). British Communists organized a strike in 1940, in order to make it more difficult for England to fight Nazi Germany. (p. 80).

Against the claim that Communism was a champion of the peasants and workers, the Underground pointed out that the Soviet peasant has been relegated to a farmhand on the Soviet collective farms. The factory worker toils for a low standard of living, and cannot change his job. Soviet citizens live in relative poverty, and are ruled by a privileged overclass of Communists, many of them Jews. (pp. 82-83).

MINIMUM POLISH POPULAR SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNISTS

Left-wing historians promote the myth of a “Polish civil war”. This is far from the truth. Communism was imposed on Poland from the outside. (p. 126). In fact, before WWII, the Polish Communist Party was the weakest Communist Party in Europe. (p. 53). Even during the latter phases of the Nazi German occupation of Poland, the Germans did not consider the local Communists to be a significant threat to them. (p. 28).

COMMUNIST TACTICS

One of the chief acts of Communist intelligence was disinformation. This included the printing of false brochures, that painted the Polish anti-Communist forces in lurid hues, in an effort to discredit them in the eyes of the population. (p. 27). (Today’s lewaks try to do the same to Polish patriots.)

Contrary to the denials of Communist historians, the Communists did in fact betray Polish Underground members to the Gestapo. (p. 22. See also p. 51).

The Communist GL-AL bands spent little time fighting the Germans: They mostly attacked Polish civilians and Polish Underground forces. In fact, some Communist sources affirm the fact that fighting the Polish Underground is more important than fighting the Germans. (p. 95).

JEWS AND THE EARLY STAGES OF THE FORCED COMMUNIZATION OF POLAND

For a long time, the Warsaw Ghetto was the center of Communism in Poland. The Jewish intelligentsia was more Communized than the Jewish proletariat. (p. 61).

In May-June 1943, an Underground Report from London indicated that the Soviets are parachuting-in large numbers of saboteurs. These agents prefer to rob and kill the Poles rather than fight the Germans. They recruit Jews that had fled the ghettos, along with local Communists and escaped Soviet POWs. (pp. 102-103, 115). Jewish bandit bands also joined the Communists. (p. 70).

A significant number of Jews fled the German-made ghettos of Opoczno, Radom, Dzewica, and Przysucha. They joined the Communist GL-AL band led by Izrael Ajzenman “Julek”. (p. 126). Under the guise of “fighting fascists”, this band robbed and murdered several Poles in Dzewica. (pp. 126-127). Subsequent Communist historians falsified this event as an attack on a German outpost.

THE ZYDOKOMUNA EXCUSE OF ANTISEMITISM: AN IRONY

A standard excuse that Jews give for supporting Communism is the existence of Polish antisemitism. This hypocritical excuse flies in the face of the existence of antisemitism in the ranks of the Communists. For instance, Zebrowski points out that the GL-AL had a document (p. 38) in which they claimed that there was such a thing as a Jewish SS (sic) formation!
