Communists Try to Destroy and Disgrace the NSZ (as Leftists Do Today)

While Poland was under German occupation, the NSZ assassinated individual Gestapo agents and Gestapo informers, intimidated the Blue Police (Policja Granatowa), liquidated bandit bands, etc. (Wladyslaw Marcinkowski, p. 15).

The NSZ had over 100,000 members, although the author does not say if this was a peak number, or at what time this number held. (K. Gluzinski, p. 53).

REVOLUTIONARY BANDITRY CONDUCTED BY THE GL-AL BANDS

NSZ members were well aware of the tactics of the Communist bands under German occupation. The GL-AL incited wanton Polish acts against Germans in order to provoke German reprisals and bleed the Polish people. The objective was to drive the Poles to abject misery (so that they would be submissive to the eventual Soviet-imposed Communist government). (K. Gluzinski, p. 47).

THE SOVIET-IMPOSED COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT ATTEMPTS TO SMEAR AND DISCREDIT THE NSZ

Upon entering Poland on the heels of the Red Army, the NKVD and then the U. B. (Bezpieka) engaged in mass arrests and murders of NSZ members. However, owing to the prestige and influence of the NSZ among the population, the Communists realized that force and brutality were not enough. The NSZ must be also discredited in the eyes of the people. (p. 20).

To this end, the Communists staged a number of show trials, in which they accused the NSZ of collaborating with the Germans, of pitting Poles against Poles, etc. [Note that today’s successors of the Communists–the lewaks (leftists) and certain Jews–employ the exact same strategy when they call Polish patriots “Nazis” and “fascists’.]

Almost all the framed NSZ members were put to death. (pp. 21-22). Thousands of additional NSZ members were murdered by the Communists–without as much as the bother of a kangaroo court. Tadeusz Boguszewski (p. 23) estimates that, of the NSZ forces that remained in Soviet-ruled Poland, 90% of NSZ members perished, as did 97% of NSZ officers.

An NSZ member was likely involved, throughout his life, in an organization that was illegal. The ONR of the member’s youth was illegal; the NSZ under German occupation was illegal, and now the member’s life came to an end thanks to the illegal Yalta-approved Communist puppet government. (K. Gluzinski, p. 45).

GENERAL PATTON AND THE BRYGADA SWIETOKRZYSKA

The Soviet Union continued smearing the Brygada Swietokrzyska as Nazi collaborators, and demanded that they be extradited to the Soviet Union to face “justice”. General Patton was one of the few U. S. generals that understood Communism, and refused. Had the soldiers of the Brygada Swietokrzyska been turned over to the Communists, their fate would have been just like those at Katyn. In that event, the murders of these soldiers would have weighed upon the American conscience as much as do the 100 million Central Europeans that were denied their freedoms thanks to Soviet-serving western policies (such as Yalta).
